Our Vision for TLC in 2026
By Cassandra Wally, M.S., BCBA, LBA

When I look around our new clinic space, I can’t help but feel both proud and humbled. Proud of how far we’ve come, and humbled by what it’s taken to get here.
I started TLC Behavioral Consulting with a clear purpose: to offer compassionate, high-quality care to children and families navigating autism, developmental delays, and behavioral challenges. Back then, I didn’t have a building. I didn’t have a team. I didn’t even have a fully mapped-out plan. What I did have was conviction—a belief that you could combine clinical excellence with deep humanity and create something special.
Now, as we prepare for our open house and share this space with school administrators, families, and our community, I’ve been reflecting on what growth means. And to be honest, it’s not just about getting bigger. It’s about becoming deeper. More intentional. More aligned with what matters.
Growth, to me, is the process of expanding without losing who you are.

As TLC evolves, we are doubling down on our values. Compassion isn’t just a tone we take—it’s a method we use. It shows up in how we speak to children, how we write our behavior plans, and how we walk alongside families in the most vulnerable moments. It’s in the small details—how we greet a client by name, how we support each other through staff transitions, and how we pause when something doesn’t feel right.
We are also committed to sustainability, both financially and emotionally. Personally, I’ve set a goal to be debt-free and grounded in a home by 2026. Professionally, I want our organization to reflect that same sense of stability. We’re creating new revenue pathways, including private-pay, parent coaching, and school district partnerships, to ensure we’re not solely dependent on insurance billing. That flexibility allows us to be more responsive—and more human—in our services.
Our day treatment model continues to grow, and I’m excited about how we’re working with school districts to help children build not just academic readiness, but emotional resilience. We’re shifting the narrative around “school readiness” to include regulation, communication, and authentic connection—not just compliance or performance.

We’re also investing deeply in our team. The people who show up every day—many of them holding space for complex behaviors and even more complex emotions—are the soul of TLC. We’re working to build leadership pathways, reflective supervision models, and protected time for self-care. Our clinicians are not robots. They are compassionate professionals who deserve to be supported just as fiercely as they support others.
And finally, we’re looking outward. Our clinic is more than a treatment site—it’s a space for community. We envision hosting trainings, workshops, and events where families, educators, and clinicians can come together to learn and grow. Healing doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens when we create circles of care.
As we look ahead to 2026, I feel hopeful. We’re not just growing—we’re evolving. And we’re doing it without losing the heart of who we are.
To every parent who has trusted us, to every child who has taught us, and to every team member who has walked alongside me—I see you. I’m grateful for you. And I’m excited for where we’re headed next.
With love and deep gratitude,
Cassandra
