Learning Through Play

At our Day Treatment Center, every child is partnered up with their own Behavior Therapist that will guide them through different activities that target Communication, Behavior, Social, and Adaptive Skills. It is a small, intimate setting with limited spaces per enrollment period to ensure a peaceful environment where every child gets the full attention they deserve. Scroll down to learn more.

OVERVIEW

Our Day Treatment Center offers services to children between the ages of 3 - 6 that are on the spectrum or have similar developmental delays. Children are enrolled in a 12-week treatment program that includes ABA Services, Speech Therapy Sessions, and more to help with preschool readiness. There are two time slots from 9:30 - 11:30 AM, and 12:00 - 3:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. This program was created as an option for families with Medicare Insurance ( Community Health Plan of Washington, Molina, and Coordinated Care).

SERVICES

ABA Services

Applied Behavior Analysis is a therapy based on the science of learning and behavior. It involves many techniques for understanding and changing behavior. It is a flexible treatment tailored to each individual's needs utilizing positive reinforcement.

Speech Therapy

Speech Therapy helps children improve their communication and language skills. Focuses involve early language skills, ability to use your voice, language comprehension, fluency, and clarity and expression.

Gross/Fine Motor Skills

Motor Skills are different ways which the body uses muscles to perform tasks. Fine Motor Skills use smaller muscles, specifically those in the hand and wrist. This includes grasping and hand-eye coordination. Gross Motor Skills use larger muscle groups and include rolling, crawling and walking.

Parent Training

Parent Training is an important part of any ABA program. It involves teaching parents/caregivers critical skills to improve functioning in the natural environment, techniques to address challenging behaviors, and ways to reduce stress levels.
